WHERE IS IT - LOCATION

My apartment is located in the town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the French Riviera, one of the most famous resort areas in the world. At the heart of the French Riviera, France's southeastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque seaside resort of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is situated between the town of Menton and the principality of Monaco, each only ten minutes away.

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin comprises five charming villages and towns, each with its own unique characteristics: St.Roman, practically a suburb of Monaco, providing sport and leisure facilities such as the Monte-Carlo Country Club, the residential areas of Cabbé, Bon Voyage and Serret offering a typical image of the French Riviera, Roquebrune with its perched village and chateau from the 10th Century, the Cap Martin peninsula with its magnificent villas and parks and the modern seaside resort of Carnolès with its long pebble beach. Statesmen, royalty, writers, and artists, all have come looking for inspiration and rest in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Among the historical figures were Winston Churchill, the French fashion designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, and the legendary Empress of Austria-Hungary “Sissi”, just to mention a few.

Besides the areas' beautiful beaches and acitivities to suit all tastes, the possibilities for excursions to enjoy surrounding sights are endless. For instance, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is  situated only 30 minutes from the Italian market town of San Remo, with its fabulous tropical plants and famous food market.
